A WORD ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE

I REMEMBER IN THE 1960'S THE "DIRE" REPORTS BY CONGRESS ABOUT SOCIAL SECURITY (AND LATER MEDICARE) GOING BROKE BY A "CERTAIN" YEAR IN THE FUTURE.. THAT WAS BEFORE CONGRESS (BOTH PARTIES) ROBBED IT OF BILLIONS TO COVER THE COST OF EARMARKS..FRAUD ,WASTE AND ABUSE ..SPECIAL PROJECTS.. A HOST OF OTHER NON ESSENTIAL PROGRAMS AND RIDICULOUS PROJECTS ..AND IT WAS ALL BS.. I WROTE TO CONGRESS IN THE SEVENTIES TO PLEAD WITH THEM TO "LEAVE SOCIAL SECURITY ALONE" BUT GOT NO RESPONSE.. AT ALL.. THEN CAME THE "AGE OF COMPUTERS" WHEN IT WOULD BE EASIER FOR CONGRESS TO BUDGET FOR THOSE "BABY BOOMERS" COMING AND THE FACT THAT WE WERE "ALL" LIVING LONGER..SURE.. MORE BS.. THEN IN THE EIGHTIES,NINTIES AND EARLY 2000 MORE "DIRE" PREDICTIONS..MORE BS.. WHEN IS THIS GROUP OF CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES (BOTH GOP/DEM..REPRESENTATIVES AND SENATORS) GOING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THESE VITAL PROGRAMS IN OUR SOCIETY..??WHEN?? I SAY THEY DON'T WANT TO ..THEY WANT TO KEEP THE BS FLOWING SO WE "ALL" FEEL GUILTY FOR TWO PROGRAMS THAT WE "ALL" PAID INTO SO THEY ARE REALLY NOT "ENTITLEMENTS" BUT "RESERVE ACCOUNTS" FOR "ALL" AMERICANS.. IF YOU CLOWNS (AND I INCLUDE PRES OBAMA AND HIS TOTALLY CORRUPT ADMINISTRATION IN THIS) CAN FIND STIMULUS DOLLARS TO BAIL OUT BANKS,,MTGE COMPANIES.. CAR COMPANIES..FAKE SOLAR COMPANIES..FREEBIES TO ILLEGALS ..STEAL FROM THE RICH TO PAY FOR THE POOR..ETC ,ETC ..SURELY YOU CAN FLOAT A STIMULUS TO "SHORE UP " SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE THRU SAY AT LEAST 2050 ..EVEN IF JUST TO PAY BACK THE MONEY YOU ALL "STOLE" FROM BOTH IN THE LAST 50 YEARS ALONE.. I DON'T EVEN THINK "STIMULUS" IS THE RIGHT WORD.. A HUGE "GOVERNMENT GRANT" WOULD BE BETTER..AND FOLKS REMEMBER.. NOV IS COMING AND YOU CAN STILL GET THIS ON THE ELECTION BALLOT FOR "ALL" AMERICANS TO VOTE ON IT AND MAKE IT SO.. R I P Dick Clark

When I was going to high school I rode the red Arrow trolley with dick Clark ..he lived in Drexelbrook and got on at that station..he was Going to work as the host of American bandstand In phila ..many times I saw him stand up and give His seat to a lady..he was a real gentleman..once I went on bandstand and danced to little richard's First song "rip it up" and met dick Clark that Day..he was very cordial & I'll never forget That..watched his career soar over the years & Hosting new years eve later..can't say enuf good About him.. Condolences to his family & music Friends ..he was "one of a kind"

MIKE WALLACE ..LEGENDARY 60 MINUTES REPORTER DEAD AT 93.. CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY ESPECIALLY CHRIS WHO IS DOING A GR8 JOB ON HIS OWN.. GROWING UP IN THE 60'S WAS A TRAUMATIC TIME WATCHING TUMULTUOUS THINGS HAPPENING TO AMERICA THAT SHOOK MY VERY SOUL..VIETNAM WAR..TURMOIL IN WASH DC ..POLITICAL AND RACIAL UNREST..RADICAL BEHAVIOR ON ALL LEVELS.. GROSS MURDERS AND HORRIBLE CRIMES..AND MOST OF ALL THE ADVENT OF DRUGS BIGTIME INTO OUR SOCIETY.. THE ONE STABILIZING THING TO ME ..EVERY SUNDAY MY MOM & DAD AND ME WATCHED MIKE WALLACE ON 60 MINUTES.HE WAS TOUGH YET FAIR..BUT VERY CONSISTENT AND HE WOULD "GET TO THE BOTTOM" OF THE STORY AND EXPLAIN "WHY" THESE PEOPLE DID WHAT THEY DID ..IT HAD A CALMING EFFECT ON ME AND IT JUST MADE SENSE OF MUCH OF THE CHAOS..HE WAS AN "INTERVIEWING GENIUS" AND TO MY KNOWLEDGE NEVER BACKED AWAY FROM A STORY ..HE WAS AN ICON ..AND I ENJOYED HIS WORKED AND THE REST OF 60 MINUTES INTERVIEWERS AS WELL (MORLEY SAFER,HARRY REASONER,ET AL..) ..THEY WERE GR8..

From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship." "The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years. Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul , Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election: Num ber of States won by: Obama: 19 McCain: 29 Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 McCain: 2,427,000 Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million McCain: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 McCain: 2.1 Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory McCain won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase. If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's - and they vote - then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years. CONTRACTS TO BUILD BRIDGES IN AMERICA HAVE BEEN AWARDED TO CHINESE COMPANIES (MATERIALS AND LABOR) WHILE AMERICA SUFFERS WITH 9% UNEMPLOYMENT..LOSS OF TAX REVENUE..MORE THAN 10,000 LABOR AND CONSTRUCTION JOBS..THIS IS TOTALLY WRONG.. Diane Sawyer reporting on U.S. bridge projects going to the Chinese.... NOT Americans. The bridges are right here in the U.S. and yet Obama has approved for Chinese contractors to come in and do the work. What about jobs for Americans??? Watch this video. It doesn't take long to view.
